Rimus, king of the world
Uno dei protagonisti, nel bene e nel male, della storia europea fu Rimus, re del mondo all'incirca nel 2300 avanti Cristo. Nella parte di mappa relativa alle attuali pianure germaniche viene espressamente citato:
- "There are tho Left Rise and they cling to the Gall Bladder and the Left Seat is black: Omen of king Rimus [whom his courtiers killed] with their seals" (Koch-Westenholz 75-r3)
Ci sono due "Left Rise" (zona indicante le pianure germaniche verso il mare) e si uniscono alla catena alpina e il Left Seat (le pianure) e' nero (colore a cui non sappiamo ancora che significato associare): omen ("presagio" ma anche dichiarazione altisonante, direi) di Rimus (il re del mondo di cui trovate qui di seguito elencazione in lingua inglese delle sue gesta).

Further, he captured Mes-kigala, governor at Adab, and Lugal-galzu, governor of Zabala. He conquered their two cities and destroyed the walls of both of them. Further, he expelled so many men from their two cities and annihilated themY Rimus, king of the world, was victorious over Umma and Ki.AN in battle and struck down 8,900 men. He took 3,540 captives. Further, he captured En-x, governor of KI.AN. Further, he conquered their two cities and destroyed the walls of both of them. Further, he expelled 3,600 men from their two cities and annihilated themY Rimus, king of the world, was victorious over Ur and Lagas in battle and struck down 8,040 men. He took 5,460 captives. Further, he captured KA-ku, king of Ur, and Kitus-id, governor of Lagas. Further, he conquered their two cities and destroyed the walls of both of them. Further, he expelled 5,985 men from their two cities and annihilated themY Rimus, king of the world- the god Enlil did indeed grant kingship to him. He was fully three (times) victorious over Sumer in battle in battle. He struck down 11,322 men. He took N captives. Further, he captured KA-ku, king of Ur, and his governors. Further, he took away their tribute (from) as far as the Lower Sea. Further, he expelled 14,100 men from the cities of Sumer and annihilated them. Further, he conquered their cities and destroyed their walls. Thereupon, on his return, Kazallu revolted. He conquered it and within Kazallu (itself) struck down 12,052 men. He took 5,862 captives. Further, he captured Asared, governor of Kazallu and destroyed its (Kazallu's) wall. In total 54,016 men (including) those struck down, captives and men whom he annihilatedY the campaignY By the gods Samas and Alaba I swear that (these) are not falsehoods, (but) are indeed true. - Rimus, king of the world, when he conquered Kazallu, in battle with Kazallu he struck down 12,052 men, He took 5,864 captive. Further, he captured Asared, governor of Kazallu and destroyed its (Kazallu's) wall. As for one who removes this inscription, may the gods Enlil and Samas tear out foundations and destroy his progenyY.-socle, below on his right side. Rimus, king of the world, was victorious in battle over Abalgamas, king of Parahsum. Zahara and Elam had assembled in Parahsum for battle, but he (Rimus) was victorious (over them) and struck down 16,212 men (and) took 4,216 captives. Further, he captured Emahsini, king of Elam, and all the Y of Elam. Further, he captured Sidga'u, general of Parahsum and Sar-GA-PI, general of Zahara, in between (the cities of) Awan and Susa, by the 'Middle River'. Further, he heaped up over them a burial mound in the area of the city. Further, he conquered the cities of Elam, destroyed their walls, and tore out the foundations of Parahsum from the land of Elam. (Thereby) Rimus, king of the world, ruled Elam. The god Enlil showed him (the way). In the third year of Enlil's having granted kingship to him (there was) a total of 9,624 men (whom he defeated) including those struck down (and captives). By the gods Samas and Ilaba I swear that (these) are not falsehoods, (but) are indeed true. At the time of this battle he fashioned a statue of himself and dedicated it to the god Enlil for his well-beingY When he conquered Elam and Parahsum, he took away 30 minas of gold, 3, 600 minas of copper and 300 male and female slaves and dedicated (them) to the god Enlil. He holds the Upper Sea and the Lower Sea and all the mountain (lands) for the god EnlilY.To the god Sin, Rimus, king of the world, when he conquered Elam and Parahsum, dedicated (this) object from the booty of Elam.
